An evening for you. Color from nature. A glass of natural wine. What is created, no one else in the world wears.
At the cosmaki studio, you dye with plant extracts, blossoms, bark, and leaves – what people have been using to create color for millennia. No prior knowledge, no preparation needed. You come, choose your raw material on site, place plant material on the fabric, roll it up, tie it, steam it. What unfolds afterward is unlike any other piece in the world.
Every now and then, we work seasonally with fresh blossoms – when the season allows.
All raw materials are pre-mordanted by us – this opens the fiber and ensures that the plant dyes penetrate deeply and last a long time. After dyeing, we take care of the rest: washing out, fixing, ironing. After approximately 14 days, you can pick up your piece or we can send it to you.
The studio fee is €15 – including a glass of natural wine. You choose your raw material on-site, starting from €10. You can find a preview HERE

What is included in the €15 studio fee?
The studio fee of €15 includes: studio use, all (seasonal) plant materials, tools, guidance, a glass of natural wine, and the complete post-processing of your piece - washing out, fixing, ironing. You select and pay for the raw materials on site, starting from €10.
What raw materials are there and how much do they cost?
We offer tote bags, t-shirts, scarves, children's bibs, and much more made from organic cotton — starting from 12€. All raw materials are pre-mordanted by us with natural metal salts and ready to dye. The selection is available HERE.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. Everything is provided on site. Wear clothes that can get dirty.
Who is this suitable for?
For adults — whether alone, as a pair, or in a small group. No prior knowledge is required. The studio is designed for a maximum of 12 people per session.
