A clearly guided introduction to natural dyeing.
During the dyeing session, children create their own T-shirt with real plants, flowers, and natural materials.
We work with the bundle dye technique:
lay, tie, steam, unwrap. The process is simply structured and easy for children to follow.
The group size is intentionally kept small.
This allows each child to work independently and receive support if needed.
After the design phase, the textiles are steamed for about 30 minutes.
There will be a break during this time.
Please bring something for this phase:
snacks, drinks (water available on-site), or a quiet activity (e.g., coloring book, pencils, small game).
Finally, the textiles are unwrapped.
The shirts are still slightly damp and should be fully dried at home.
Each child also receives brief care instructions for aftercare, so that the textile is properly treated at home.
