This private group event is for people who want to experience indigo consciously and calmly – handcrafted, focused, and in a small group.

You'll start with a small tablecloth to learn the technique and color behavior of indigo before transferring the pattern to the T-shirt. During the dyeing phases, there will be time for exchange, observation, and breaks. No prior knowledge is necessary.

We take care of the complete post-processing – washing out, neutralizing, ironing, and labeling. You can pick up your textiles after approx. 7 days or have them sent to you.

Optionally, sports socks (Made in Germany) can be booked and dyed on site.

FAQ

Do we need to bring anything?

No. All textiles and materials are included.

Clothing and preparation

What should I wear?
Wear clothes that can get dirty – indigo leaves stains that don't always wash out. The same goes for shoes: it's best to wear dark or old shoes, no light sneakers or delicate materials.

Do I need to bring an apron?
No, we provide aprons in the studio.

Can indigo stain skin?
Yes, indigo can temporarily stain hands and skin blue. This fades within a few days. We have gloves available on-site.

Can we dye our own textiles?

No. We work with pre-prepared materials for consistent results.

Should we take the dyed pieces home with us?

No. The textiles are washed and neutralized in the studio after the workshop. This ensures that the colors last and the pieces are durable.

Are there parking spaces?

Parking is limited. Public transport is recommended.
