Here's how it works:
01 – Choose T-shirt size or jute bag and book ticket
02 – Arrive & receive raw materials
03 – Place plants, flowers, and extracts on the fabric, roll it up, tie it
04 – Steam
05 – Break & popsicles
06 – Unroll and marvel

A clearly guided introduction to natural dyeing.
During the dyeing session, children design their own T-shirt with real plants, flowers, and natural materials.
We work with the bundle-dye technique:
lay, tie, steam, unwrap. The process is simply structured and easy for children to understand.
The group size is intentionally kept small.
This allows each child to work independently and receive support if needed.
After the design phase, the textiles are steamed for approximately 30 minutes.
During this time, there will be a break.
Please bring something for this break:
Snacks, drinks (water available on site) or a quiet activity (e.g., coloring book, pens, small game).
Finally, the textiles are unwrapped.
The shirts are still slightly damp and will be fully dried at home.
Each child also receives a brief care instruction for aftercare, so that the textile is properly treated at home.

Why we share our studio
Our studio is more than just a room for dyeing.
For many, it's a day off from everyday life. Time for themselves, for slow processes, for colors that smell of nature.
Some bring a few T-shirts, others dye a piece for someone they love.
What everyone takes away: Something that lasts — and a feeling of what it’s like to transform something with your own hands.

Break during the steam era
While the pieces are dyeing in the steam, you can take a short break: in front of the studio (car-free on weekends) or 10 minutes towards Kalker Hauptstraße.
FAQ
From what age is this suitable?
Ages 4 and up. Max. 8 children per session, to ensure enough time for everyone.
Why do I need one ticket per child?
We prepare each raw material individually. Simply select the appropriate T-shirt size at checkout.
What happens if my child makes a mess?
That's part of it. It's best to wear old clothes; we have aprons on site.
Do parents have to participate?
No. Drinking coffee, watching, being there – that's perfectly enough.
When can I pick it up?
After approx. 10 days. We will contact you when the pieces are ready. Shipping is also possible.
Can I book as a private group?
Yes. Children's birthday parties for 5 or more children are possible - view here.
