Made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Pre-washed and pre-mordanted with natural metal salts so that the plant dyes penetrate deep into the fibers and truly last.
You choose it on-site at the studio — we take care of the rest.

Stained – what does that actually mean?
In order for plant dyes to adhere permanently to textiles, preparation is sometimes required – the so-called mordant.
Cosmaki offers you two options:
- Unmordified: Ideal for indigo or if you want to mordant yourself
- Stained: Prepared with a cold stain, ready to dye directly for madder, onion skin, avocado, cutch & Co.
