HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
- You place flowers and leaves onto your silk scrunchies and wrap them up tightly.
- Your scrunchies are steamed, and the plants release their color.
- In the meantime, you print your Christmas cards using block printing.
- You unwrap your scrunchies and take them home with you, [still damp / dry].
Silk scrunchies, dyed by you with flowers and leaves. A small format for those who want to take home several gifts from a single session.
With bundle dyeing, you place plants onto the silk and wrap them up tightly. In the steam, the plants release their color directly onto the fabric, and their shapes remain as patterns. Silk is a protein fiber and absorbs natural dyes particularly well.
While your scrunchies are dyeing in the steam, you will print the accompanying Christmas cards. Using our wooden and linocut blocks, you can combine shapes, letters, and numbers to create your own design. That way, you go home with finished gifts.
Per booking, you will dye one to five scrunchies; each comes with a card and envelope.
The workshop will take place at Café Südlicht, not at our studio. You can purchase drinks on-site.
We will explain how to care for your scrunchies afterward on-site.

Participants: 4 to 10 per session. If fewer than 4 registrations are received, we will cancel 48 hours in advance and you will receive a refund.
