COLORING for children
Your child will decorate a jute bag or gym bag with flowers and leaves. The bag is included in the price.
Your child places flowers and leaves on the fabric and rolls it all up tightly. After steaming, it is unrolled, and only then is it revealed what has been created.

Here's how it works:
01 You choose a jute bag or a drawstring bag and book one ticket per child.
02 You arrive, and everything is ready.
03 Your child tries out the colors of the day on watercolor paper. They get to keep the color chart.
04 Flowers, leaves, and plant dyes are placed on the bag, then it is rolled up and tied tightly.
05 While the bags are steaming, there is a break for snacks.
06 Unroll and discover the pattern.
07 You take the bag home with you immediately, still damp and packed in a bag.
A clearly guided introduction to natural dyeing.
During the dyeing session, children design their own T-shirt with real plants, flowers, and natural materials.
We work with the bundle-dye technique:
lay, tie, steam, unwrap. The process is simply structured and easy for children to understand.
The group size is intentionally kept small.
This allows each child to work independently and receive support if needed.
After the design phase, the textiles are steamed for approximately 30 minutes.
During this time, there will be a break.
Please bring something for this break:
Snacks, drinks (water available on site) or a quiet activity (e.g., coloring book, pens, small game).
Finally, the textiles are unwrapped.
The shirts are still slightly damp and will be fully dried at home.
Each child also receives a brief care instruction for aftercare, so that the textile is properly treated at home.

Is the raw material included in the price?
Yes. When booking, you choose between a tote bag or a drawstring bag.
From what age is this suitable?
Ages 4 and up.
Why do I need one ticket per child?
We prepare every raw product individually. Simply select the item during checkout.
What happens if my child makes a mess?
That's part of it. It's best to wear old clothes.
When do we get the finished piece?
You take it with you directly, still damp. You wash and fix it yourself at home; all the steps for this can be found on our care instructions page.
This is how the pattern is created
Children decide for themselves: leaves, blossoms, shapes. We show the technique – the design is free. No pressure, no 'right or wrong'.
Pause during steaming time
While the pieces are being dyed in the steamer, you can pop outside: in front of the studio (car-free on weekends) or 10 minutes towards Kalker Hauptstraße.
